Welcome to Redradar!

I'm Kelly, and I'll be your host today. I'm a recent grad trying to keep busy before going to grad school in fall 2010. I have interests and a resume, if you're looking for a short-term (6-9months) web developer (though long-term is a possibility too). I also have wordpress plugins & other projects; I'm currently working on a twitter/trending topics application for linux; and sometimes I talk about interesting tech topics. I hope you enjoy your stay, and come back often! (alternately you can follow me on twitter, or grab my RSS feed)

Final test before release

Posted on Jun 19, 2009 at 11:45 PM

This post is the last test of PFS before release. If you’re reading it, then v1.6.20 should be available for download sometime tomorrow (Saturday). Some new things:

  • Proper image support
  • Ability to create custom links for posting to individual categories (like suggested here)
  • Better documentation and cleaner code

Probably more things too, but it’s near 3am and I can’t think. So, look for the release tomorrow!

  1. I made this suggestion already, but I’d like to request that it’s possible for when guests register that they are automatically redirected to the front-end so they don’t see the back-end. Then they should be able to submit a post with the PFS.

Can this be done? And also how about a user profile for members on the front-end with stats on their contributions?

  2. As I said on your other comment, that’s beyond the scope of this plugin. As is the user profile. I’ll keep these in mind for later plugins, but I have no plans now to do either.

  3. When i download i don’t find the CSS file in the folder. As you said in the FAQ’s … its not a link and no pop up is coming ofcourse since there is no CSS file
